Dana Ogden
My name is Dana Ilijevski Ogden. I am a Macedonian-American woman of faith, a wife to Dayton Evan Ogden, a mother of two—Noah and Madison, and an individual with great ambition to reach out to people and pour out many blessings onto them—love, compassion, counsel, wisdom, hospitality and friendship.
I am a graduate from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL, with a BA in English Literature. I taught 8th grade Language Arts for the past eight years, raising up our youth in our community in not only reading comprehension and the writing process, but also in overall discipline for character development. Currently, I am a technical writer/editor for Delex Systems, Inc. as a DoD contractor for our U.S. Navy; my purpose is to draft guides and checklists, and edit training course materials for our Navy students. I am thrilled that I can write and edit to serve our country with the skill set that I have been teaching my students over the years; I have refined my skills in writing and I am looking forward to achieving more growth to strengthen and refine my existing skills in composition and communication.
Rome, London, Paris, Dublin, Belgrade, Tetovo, Athens! My husband and I have a passion to travel to immerse ourselves into diverse cultures and learn new customs and languages, explore new places with beautiful architecture, eat delicious foods, and expand the little worlds of our son and daughter so that they, too, may see the world and embrace the beauty in it.
As a contributing author to Suite101.com, I will share my little wisdom and experiences in education, spiritual development, planning affordable parties and receptions—birthdays, graduation, bridal and baby showers and weddings—strengthening your marriage, bonding in your relationships, raising healthy kids, coping with unemployment or with an unemployed spouse, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, kicking smoking to the curb—forever—and, exercise and fitness.
